The girl’s lacrosse team will play its next match on March 2 against Coppell High School at the Colleyville Middle School field.

“I think we will be very successful this year because we have a lot of talent on the team,” sophomore Sammie Josch said. “Our goal is to win state and we’ve all been working hard at it since the beginning of this season, so it’s definitely possible.”

Some girls on the team have never played before. They joined the team because it is a non-cut sport.

“I’m really excited for the whole experience because I’ve never played before,” Josch said. “I can’t wait to get to know my teammates.”

Other players said they are looking forward to the season and games they will play.

“This year should be great,” sophomore Madelyn Miller said. “I’ve really enjoyed playing lacrosse with my friends and I’m excited this see what this season brings.”
